A Caution to Poets
(Interior by John Nash, 1893-1977, English painter,
wood engraver, and botanic illustrator)
A CAUTION TO POETS

A pleasure in creating,
The world, in its turn, will not take
Pleasure in contemplating.
~ Matthew Arnold (1822-1888), English poet and critic
